The Urban Development Program (UDP) is released each year as spatial data in a Geo-spatial Information System (GIS) format and summary data presented in the annual report. This meant if users wanted to access the spatial data they would need access to GIS software as well as the skills to use it.
To increase the accessibility of the fine level data the UDP is built on, DELWP has developed an easy to use online mapping tool.
What you can do in the data viewer
The silent videos below show some of the functions available in the data viewer:
- Displaying layers for the Greenfield, Major Redevelopment and Industrial components of the UDP
- Moving around the map
- Selecting and exporting data
- Exporting maps
For best viewing click on HD in the video controls.

To help us improve the data viewer, the UDP team is interested in your experience using it. Please email your ideas and improvements to Forward Policy and Research.
