Description of proposal
Proposed maintenance and repair works to an existing hydro-electric power station headrace tunnel. The tunnel conveys water to the power station for electricity generation. Works are limited to inspection, maintenance and localised repairs within the existing tunnel and associated access points. No expansion, new buildings, or change to the operational use of the land is proposed. The works are required to ensure the ongoing safe and efficient operation of the existing infrastructure.
