Stream: This site was considered under Planning Stream A, which required a planning scheme amendment to be approved, and exempted from notice under S20(4) for the Planning and Environment Act 1987.
Amendment: Rezone land to reflect the on-ground conditions for three completed Level Crossing Removal Project sites at Cherry Street, Aviation Road, and Old Geelong Road.
Landowner: Multiple landowners, including the Crown, the Department of Transport, Hobsons Bay Council and Wyndham Council.
Municipality: Hobsons Bay and Wyndham.
Final outcome
Changes to the planning provisions for three completed Level Crossing Removal Project sites at Cherry Street, Aviation Road, and Old Geelong Road were gazetted as Hobsons Bay and Wyndham Planning Schemes Amendment GC214 on 8 February 2024.
