Proposal
The Department of Education and Training (DET) has determined that 1548 Boorhaman Road, Boorhaman (the site) is surplus to its operational requirements.
The Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF), on behalf of DET, has requested that the planning provisions for the site be changed to enable the land to be sold. DTF has proposed that the site be rezoned from Public Use Zone – Schedule 2 (Education) to Township Zone. The existing Heritage Overlay – Schedule 212 is to be retained.
Minister's decision
Changes to the planning provisions for 1548 Boorhaman Road, Boorhaman, were gazetted as Wangaratta Planning Scheme Amendment GC100 on 15 November 2018.
