Description of proposal
Application to construct additional entries foyers to the ground floor of the Director’s high rise housing blocks at the above address. It is proposed that new entries foyers be constructed to the 110, 112 & 139 building towers, to allow upgraded access to and egress from the building to the outdoor shared open spaces & community facilities on site. The intention is to improve resident pedestrian flow, and to provide better circulation for security. Double sliding doors are proposed to the main entries and single sliding door to the secondary entries to provide an air-lock effect both from the outside and to the interior foyer. The existing internal ground floor foyer area is to be upgraded with several windows replaced, along with some new infill brickwork within the existing building envelopes. The proposed foyers roofs will be a concealed metal deck roof. New landscaping to the 3 building new entries with a new join to the existing external pavings will be made good.
