Panel or Committee
Yarra Ranges Low Density Residential Development Zone Advisory Committee
An Advisory Committee was been appointed to provide advice on Amendment C143 to the Yarra Ranges Planning Scheme. The Advisory Committee will advise the Minister for Planning, in accordance with the terms of reference, as to whether the amendment should be approved as proposed by the Yarra Ranges Shire Council, taking into account any submissions received.
Terms of reference
The terms of reference (PDF, 1.2 MB) for the Advisory Committee have been reviewed to reflect a revised notification and timing process.

Submissions period
The department wrote to the affected parties inviting them to provide a submission by Wednesday 28 September 2016.
Directions hearing
The directions hearing was held on Wednesday 26 October 2016.
Public hearing
The hearings were held on Thursday 24 and Friday 25 November 2016.
Report
The Advisory Committee submitted its report (PDF, 1.9 MB) on 14 February 2017.
