Planning scheme structure
All planning schemes have a standard structure. They have three main parts: maps, the written text and incorporated documents.
Amending the planning scheme
Changes to a planning scheme may be prepared by the Minister for Planning, a local council and some government authorities, although only the Minister can approve a change. A planning scheme can only be changed by a formal amendment process.
