The Department of Education and Training (DET) has determined that 22-48 Ambrose Street and 18-24 Macedon Street, Dallas (the site) is surplus to its operational requirements. The Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF), on behalf of DET, has requested that the planning provisions for the site be changed to enable the land to be sold.

DTF has proposed that the site be rezoned from Public Use Zone – Schedule 2 (Education) to General Residential Zone – Schedule 1. DTF is also proposing to apply a Section 173 Agreement to all titles that form the site.
