The planning panel has been appointed to consider submissions regarding the proposed changes to planning controls.
The Melbourne Planning Scheme Amendment C270 proposes permanent changes to the planning controls that guide the built form and development of Melbourne's Central City.
The Minister for Planning is the Planning Authority for the Amendment.
In September 2015, the Minister for Planning announced a review of Melbourne's central city built form and introduced interim controls while the review was underway and permanent controls were being developed.
The review is now complete and the documentation generated by the review has provided the basis for the proposed Amendment.
