The Minister for Planning appointed an Advisory Committee to review an Application for Review called in from the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) of Port Phillip City Council’s decision to Refuse to Grant Planning Permit 989/2016. The proposal is for the construction of a ten-storey mixed use building over two basement levels, containing 174 dwelling and two retail premises, and a reduction in car parking requirements (VCAT Ref. P2100/2017).

Directions Hearing: the Directions Hearing took place at 10.00am on Wednesday 9 October 2019 at Planning Panels Victoria, Ground Floor, 1 Spring Street, Melbourne Public Hearings:
Hearings were scheduled to commence on 25 November 2019. On 26 November 2019, the Applicant advised the Committee that it intends to withdraw the permit application for 1-7 Waterfront Place. Accordingly, the Hearing will not continue.
