The types of panel and advisory committee reports that are available are listed below.
Planning scheme amendments panel reports
Panel reports about planning scheme amendments are made available 28 days after the report has been submitted by the panel.
Details of panel reports for planning scheme amendments can be viewed on Planning Schemes Online. Proposals that are the subject of more than one amendment will be listed under each of the relevant amendments.
Advisory committee reports
Advisory committee reports are released at the discretion of the Minister for Planning. This usually happens once a final decision has been made. Reports are not automatically made publicly available 28 days after the submission of the report.
Planning permit call-in panel reports
Panel reports for planning permit applications can be prepared when the application has either been called-in by or referred to the Minister for Planning. These reports are released at the Minister's discretion, usually once a final decision has been made.
Unlike planning scheme amendment panel reports, they are not automatically available 28 days after the panel's report has been submitted.
Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal appeal call-in reports
Advisory committee reports can be prepared on Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) appeals that have been called in by the Minister. These reports are released at the Minister's discretion, usually once a final decision has been made.
