The amendment applies to land adjacent to the town of Avenel and includes 112 Vearings Road Avenel (CA 30 & CA30A Section G Parish of Avenel) and part of 140 Vearings Road Avenel (Part Lot 1 2 & 3 TP801676). The area has been named North Avenel. The amendment proposes to rezone the site at North Avenel from Farming Zone to Low Density Residential Zone and apply a Development Plan Overlay Schedule 1 to apply to the land. The amendment will also amend the Local Planning Policy Framework to include objectives implementation and recommendations of the Euroa & Avenel Rural Residential Development - Development Plan Report April 2010 and the Development Plan 2 - North Avenel April 2010.
