Rezones land at the corner of Western Highway and Westwood Drive, Burnside from Mixed Use Zone to Commercial 1 Zone and land to the north of this site from Commercial 1 Zone to Mixed Use to more effectively facilitate an activity centre. The amendment also replaces Schedule 1 to the Development Plan Overlay with a new Schedule 17, corrects a mapping anomaly to align land use zones with property boundaries. The amendment also rezones a portion of land to the north of the site, currently used as a retirement village from Commercial 1 Zone to General Residential Zone 1.
