The amendment facilitates the use and development of land within the East Village Precinct in East Bentleigh for commercial, retail, residential, and a mix of other uses, generally in accordance with the East Village Comprehensive Development Plan by applying the Comprehensive Development Zone, Development Contributions Overlay and Environmental Audit Overlay to the land and making other associated changes to the Glen Eira planning scheme.
