The Amendment is a combined amendment and planning permit application under Section 96A of the Planning and Environment Act 1987. The amendment rezones 5.75 hectares of land within the Benalla township at 72-82 Samaria Road and 60-64 Coster Street, Benalla from the Industrial 1 Zone (IN1Z) to the General Residential Zone – Schedule 1 (GRZ1) and applies an Environmental Audit Overlay and a new Schedule 1 to the Land Subject to Inundation Overlay (LSIO1).
